Parents Unite for Healthcare Rights

Recently MAGIC was alerted to a bill pending in the Senate which would have greatly impacted many member families. We became aware of the bill only days before it would have passed. As this is the first time we have ever had to go into full action regarding any type of legilslation, we scrambled to Washington and alerted MAGIC families.

During the process we learned a great deal. We also made some wonderful friends in Washington who have been of tremendous value to our efforts.

However, as we are becoming more aware of future possible problems in this same area, we are now forced to raise money to help offset our costs while fighting for the children (and affected adults). Therefore, we are implementing a new fundraising campaign called Parents Unite for Healthcare Rights.

Funds donated will be used for copies (packages sent or delivered to Congressmen etc.), travel, phone expenses, and other costs directly incurred for this effort. It is very expensive in Washington and things mount up. Your donation will help us afford and be prepared for future efforts and are 100% tax deductible.

To donate money to this fund, simply fill out the form below. Thank you for your help!
