About MAGIC Foundation

The MAGIC Foundation is a charitable non-profit organization created to provide support services for the families of children afflicted with a wide variety of chronic and/or critical disorders, syndromes and diseases that affect a child's growth. 

 

The MAGIC Foundation was incorporated in the state of Illinois and received 501(C)3 non-profit status October 29, 1989. Since its inception the Foundation has grown to include support services for adults who were also impacted by these disorders.

 

The MAGIC Foundation's mission is to reduce the emotional and physical trauma caused by growth disorders, resulting in healthier, happier children and consequently, adults. Our Motto: Children have a short time to grow and a lifetime to live with the results! Together we are MAGIC!

  • Help you learn about children's growth
  • Provide support to those searching for answers about their undiagnosed child

  • Providing accurate medical information regarding Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency, Panhypopituitarism and Cushing Syndrome
  • Offering a list of physicians who are knowledgeable and non-judgmental

When contacting us, we are not medical professionals. We are parents of affected children. We will try to match you with the parent whose child most closely resembles you/your questions. We can help you understand what we have learned from our child's experience or from conversations with physicians and other families. The Independent Charities Seal of Excellence is awarded to Charities of America that have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness.

These standards include those required by the US Government for inclusion in the Combined Federal Campaign, probably the most exclusive fund drive in the world.
