Hi! I'm Rachel Nalwa. Our family joined MAGIC in 2000 after my son Kaleb was diagnosed with optic nerve hyperplasia and endocrine deficiency. We were lucky we were able to attend the MAGIC children's convention a month after the endocrine diagnosis. The convention was so inspiring. In a time when I thought I was all alone, I had stumbled into a family that knew what we were going through. The education I received was far greater than I ever could have expected. With the knowledge I gained and the friendships I formed, I felt better prepared to deal with anything that came my way.

I live in Wisconsin with my husband, 3 kids, and our dog Coco Chanel. We love to travel and are currently conquering all 50 States, our latest adventure was a Disney Cruise to Alaska.
