Meet Rachel

Hi, I'm Rachel Smith, the RSS Adult Network Coordinator. I have Russell-Silver Syndrome myself (11p15), so I understand some of the unique challenges and triumphs that come with having the syndrome first-hand. A few years after my diagnosis, my parents discovered the MAGIC Foundation. We attended several MAGIC Conventions throughout my childhood, which were incredibly beneficial. The foundation provided invaluable guidance, knowledge, and a supportive community that helped us navigate life with Russell-Silver Syndrome more confidently. I'm excited to return to MAGIC to support others who, like me, are navigating adulthood with RSS. My goals are to provide support and resources, build a community of affected adults, and contribute to advancing medical research on aging with the syndrome. I live in Colorado with my husband, Morgan, and our dog, Lucky. I work full-time in brand marketing and enjoy traveling, hiking, discovering new foods, and visiting national parks.
